NOTES
The Dark Notes were formed by Chris Pragnell and Alex Swift in 2012. Chris and Alex had worked together previously in the late 90s in 'Larnie' and decided to have a muck around after a chance encounter.
Getting together in the traditional garage set-up, they immediately started jamming and coming up with original material rather than trotting out covers for wedding parties.
They began work on new material and, due to the sporadic nature of their sessions, spent a long time in the studio.
As work on their debut album comes to a close, the boys are looking to recruit additional musicians to enable them to take the songs on stage.
Mid-life crisis? Or simply raging against the dying of the light? Either way, they're having fun and have a lot to offer.
The fundamental philosophy of The Dark Notes is enjoy it and, if at all possible, do it loud.
